1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Precision Home Services ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Precision Home Services provides handyman and home repair services in Eureka and Woodford County, Illinois. Our services include but are not limited to:
- General handyman repairs and maintenance
- Installation and assembly services
- Seasonal services (window installation, snow removal, etc.)
- Quick fixes and minor repairs
- Other home improvement tasks as agreed upon
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Minimum Service Fee
All services are subject to a $60 minimum charge, which includes:
- $25 trip fee
- $35 labor allowance (informational - does not reduce charges when labor exceeds $60)
3.2 Pricing Structure
Pricing is calculated as follows:
- If total labor ≤ $60: Charge = $60 minimum ($25 trip + $35 allowance)
- If total labor > $60: Charge = total labor + $25 trip fee
3.3 Estimates and Quotes
We provide estimates first, then a quote based on the information you provide and our rate book. Quotes are estimates based on that information—we have not yet visited the site or inspected actual conditions. Final pricing may vary if we discover conditions that differ from what you described (e.g., unexpected damage, accessibility issues, or additional materials needed). We will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding. No additional charges without your approval. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.4 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements are made. We accept:
- Cash
- Check
- Digital payment methods (as available)
For jobs over $300, approval may be required before work begins.
4. SMS Estimate and Quote Service
4.1 Service Description
Our SMS service allows you to request estimates and quotes via text message. By texting us, you agree to:
- Receive SMS responses with estimates, quotes, and service information
- Receive service confirmations, updates, and reminders
- Receive payment reminders and invoices via SMS
4.2 Message Content
Our SMS messages may include:
- Embedded links to our website or payment portals
- Embedded phone numbers for easy calling
- Service confirmations and updates
- Promotional offers (you can opt out at any time)
4.3 Consent and Opt-Out
By texting us, you consent to receive SMS messages. You can opt out at any time by:
- Texting "STOP" to any message
- Texting "HELP" for assistance

Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive service via phone or email. Standard message and data rates may apply.
4.4 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service requests:
- 1-5 messages per service request (confirmations, updates, reminders)
- Up to 10 promotional messages per month (you can opt out)
5. Service Scheduling and Cancellation
5.1 Scheduling
Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will confirm appointments via SMS, phone, or email. Please provide accurate contact information and be available at the scheduled time.
5.2 Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5.3 No-Show Policy
If we arrive at the scheduled time and you are not available, we may charge a trip fee. Please ensure someone is available to provide access to the work area.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the work needed
- Ensure safe access to the work area
- Remove or secure pets, valuables, and obstacles
- Be present or have an authorized representative present during service
- Pay for services as agreed
- Notify us of any concerns or issues immediately
7. Warranty and Guarantees
7.1 Workmanship Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for 90 days from the date of service completion. If you experience issues with work we performed, contact us immediately for resolution.
7.2 Material Warranties
Materials used are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects.
7.3 Limitations
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage caused by third parties
- Pre-existing conditions or damage
- Normal wear and tear
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for damage to property not directly related to the work performed
- We are insured, but our liability is limited as stated above
9. Insurance
Precision Home Services maintains general liability insurance. We are insured for the work we perform. However, you are responsible for ensuring your property insurance covers any damage that may occur during service.

11. Intellectual Property

12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to our SMS service if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Woodford County, Illinois.

16. Entire Agreement
